Leadership Education and Development (LEAD), a unit of the Dean of Students Office, is excited to share the following programs for the fourth annual ELEVATE Leadership Week, April 15-19.  ELEVATE Leadership Week   is a collaborative initiative designed to recognize and celebrate the community of student leadership at Illinois State University. This transformative week will feature a lineup of dynamic guest speakers, each representing the rich mosaic that makes up our vibrant campus community. Check out the 2024 ELEVATE Leadership Week Promotional Slideshow featuring each guest speaker and session overview. 

Students, stop by the Student Involvement Center, second floor, Bone Student Center, Tuesday, April 16, between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to celebrate World Circus Day with a balloon artist, snacks, and more. Play pluck a duck for prizes and enter to win a pair of Gamma Phi Circus tickets.

Each year, Student Activities recognizes Illinois State registered student organizations and advisors for excellence in student involvement.  Applications are now open and will close on April 19. Learn more about the awards and nomination process, and submit your nomination for Small Registered Student Organization of the Year, Large Registered Student Organization of the Year, and/or Registered Student Organization Advisor of the Year.

Registered Student Organizations and campus departments are invited to register to participate in Festival ISU 2024 on Tuesday, August 27, or Wednesday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Quad. Additional information can be found on the Festival ISU website or by contacting Student Activities.

Spring Commencement volunteers needed: Illinois State University staff are invited to register to volunteer for the spring 2024 commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11. It is a great opportunity to celebrate our 2024 spring and summer graduates!

CommuniTea Connections: The most powerful connections often begin over a conversation and a great brewed beverage. Join Leadership Education and Development, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, during this come-and-go event with complementary brewed beverages, snacks, and conversation about leadership, current events, cultural storytelling, and more. Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Student Involvement Center, 2nd floor, Bone Student Center.

Student Navigators is a free service to help connect Illinois State students to basic needs resources, including food, technology, and textbooks. Visit the Student Navigators to find resources or schedule a meeting.
