Organizations
Each registered student organization is required to have an advisor who is a full-time faculty or staff member of Illinois State. The choice of advisor is the decision of the organization; however, it is recommended that the advisor share the values of the organization and its members.
While there is no standard level of involvement for organization advisors, it is important for student leaders and advisors set mutual expectations to help guide their interactions and roles. Use the following resources to make the most of your advising experience.
