Your first job is to brainstorm who might be a good mentor for you. Mentors could be any full-time ISU employee, such as:
Staff/faculty members you work with through involvements
People you look up to
Someone with the same career interests as you
Once you have decided on someone to ask to be your mentor, ask them through face-to-face conversation, phone call, or email to be your mentor in ISULeads. Be sure to tell them what ISULeads is and their duties as a mentor. Submit your mentor name and email to Leadership and Community Connections can contact your mentor for their orientation.
