The Parent and Family Advisory Board (PFAB) is made up of parent volunteers who serve as advocates and liaisons for parents and family members of current and prospective Illinois State students from all geographic areas of the state.
Members of the board are involved in several activities during the year where they serve as "expert parents" and are able to share their Illinois State experiences with other parents and family members. In addition, PFAB members play an important role in providing feedback and advice to the University about various programs, events, and initiatives that are integral to the success of Illinois State students.
Board members meet on-campus up to four times each year. The University President and the Vice President for Student Affairs are regular participants at meetings.
