The issues handled most frequently by Students' Attorney involve with landlord/tenant matters, including evictions, security deposits, subleasing, and substandard housing. However, the office also provides guidance with traffic, DUI, and other ordinance violation charges. Assistance is also available with matters involving consumer complaints, domestic violence, "lemon laws," deceptive trade practices, wrongful termination, cellular phone billing, discrimination, sexual harassment, and more.
Students' Attorney does not handle disputes involving the University, legal conflicts between students, or situations that relate to a private, profit-making activity.
