Greek Affairs

Greek Affairs, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, supports Illinois State fraternities and sororities and their governing councils by assisting with academic achievement, leadership development, community service, and membership recruitment. Let our staff help you find your way as a fraternal organization and as an individual member.

  • IFC members, click here to apply for the Leadership Fund, a scholarship program run by IFC to help our chapters attend national leadership conferences over the summer.
  • A friendly reminder from the Normal Police Department for our members living off campus:

Off-campus student housing areas are often targets for burglaries during holiday        breaks.  The Normal Police Department would like students to keep these safety
tips in mind to avoid loss of or damage to property when you are away from
       your residence:

    • Make sure all windows and interior and exterior doors are locked every time you leave your residence.
    • Always lock your doors, even if you will be gone for a short time.  Burglaries can occur even if you are away for a minute or two.
    • Do not leave valuable items such as laptop computers, gaming systems, iPods, or jewelry in plain view or easily accessible near windows or open doors.
    • Do not allow strangers into your residence or apartment.  If you have a party, be sure to lock up valuables such as computers, games systems and games, MP3 players, jewelry, DVDs, CDs, etc, so they will not be stolen.
    • When leaving your residence for Fall or Semester break, take ALL valuable items such as those listed above to avoid losses in the event a burglary occurs.
    • Understanding it is not always practical to take TVs, games systems and other large items home on break, please take a few minutes to note the make, model and serial number of the items on a “master list”. Keep a list of video games and DVDs and update it when you purchase new ones.  Save the lists on your computer and email a copy to yourself and/or your parents.  It is also a good idea to take photos of jewelry and other items of value and keep those photos on file as well.
