The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC), serves as the official coordinating agent of the nine constituent member Greek-letter fraternities and sororities in the furtherance of their national programs and promotes unity on the campus of Illinois State University and within the community where graduate and/or alumni/ae chapters are located. The NPHC stresses and provides action strategies on matters of mutual concern and serves as the conduit through which effective action plans are implemented.
At Illinois State University there are currently 7 of the 9 National Pan-Hellenic Council Organizations, each committed to providing service to the University and the Bloomington-Normal community. Additionally each organization provides programs and social events for students of the University. The ISU-PHC conducts a Black Greek Showcase for new and interested students, as well as the annual Greek Scene Step Show which feature performances by each chapter.
