This program provides a day of service that will take you into the Bloomington-Normal community. The Day of Service is Saturday, January 26. If you need transportation, we will be providing shuttles to and from the service sites.
Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service is a National Day of Service to honor Dr. King's commitment and contributions to the Civil Rights Movement and social justice. Volunteer sites will include the YWCA, YMCA, Heartland Head Start, and more. Projects will include making crafts, cleaning facilities, interacting with families, and facilitating activities for families with young children. The event will take place from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, January 26.
