Funding for this Academic Year – Opportunity Fund

Opporunity Fund applications are currently closed.

Additional information and dates will be released in late Spring 2024.

 

Applications must be the result of one or more of the following circumstances:

• An unexpected opportunity has arisen since the last Program Fund cycle
• The RSO experiences an unanticipated need
• The RSO has further developed a program concept that was not planned in time to request from the Program Fund
• The organization was created after the Program Fund closed

Application Procedures

1. Complete a Budget Spreadsheet for each event and travel request and attach them to the Opportunity Fund Narrative Form. Only electronic copies will be accepted.
2. Applications must be submitted at least eight weeks prior to the event/travel date, as the hearing must take place a minimum of six weeks in advance of the event/travel date.
3. Register for a funding hearing in the online narrative form. Appointments are first come, first served.
4. RSOs will be notified of the results via email within two weeks of the hearing.
5. RSOs that receive funding through the Fee Board will need to have a student leader and advisor meet with the RSO Financial Associate to review the purchasing guide and complete necessary account paperwork.
