Student Activities

The Student Activities unit coordinates a variety of events for students, including Welcome Week. Registered Student Organizations are also overseen by Student Activities, and the unit provides additional support and advisement to the University Program Board, a student-run activities organization.

  Student Activities helps students find their way by providing resources and opportunities to get involved on campus and helping registered student organizations be successful.

• Welcome Week

  Welcome Week is designed to connect new students to the campus and provide social opportunities with other students, assist them in learning the culture and values of Illinois State, and gain some on-site knowledge of the campus and its resources.

• University Program Board (UPB)

  The University Program Board is an activities planning committee run entirely by students. It is committed to establishing student-driven programs focused on the social, cultural, educational, and recreational growth of Illinois State University and the surrounding community.
