Student Conduct and Community Responsibilities (SCCR), a unit of the Dean of Students Office, provides services, solutions, and support to aid students' understanding of responsibility and citizenship within the University and Bloomington-Normal communities.
The University Hearing Panel (UHP) reviews information in cases where students are alleged to have violated the Code of Student Conduct. The UHP makes decisions as to whether or not violations of the Code have occurred and imposes educational sanctions when violations have been established.
Watch our University Hearing Panel video, which demonstrates the sequence of events that occur during a hearing. Please note this represents a mock hearing panel.
SCCR is looking to expand our pool of panelists for University Hearing Panel. If you are interested in serving on the UHP, please complete this UHP application. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis. Training will take place electronically via ReggieNet with a required in-person session to follow. Student panelists must be in good academic and good disciplinary standing. If you have any questions, please email SCCR.
