The Dean of Students Enhancement Fund supports enhancement of the programs and services provided by the Dean of Students Office at Illinois State University.

Greek Areté
The Greek Areté—Greek Leadership Fund was established in 2018 by Eric and Karin Burwell to highlight and elevate the virtue affiliated with the Illinois State University Sorority and Fraternity Life experience while honoring the history and foundation of fraternal organizations. The fund supports initiatives that call for excellence in each fraternity and sorority member and increases the value of the Greek community for its members, the University, and its alumni.

Leadership Initiative Fund
The Leadership Initiative Fund supports new leadership initiatives and programs designed to help students learn to be engaged, compassionate leaders committed to moving individuals, teams, organizations, and ideas forward. Students are given opportunities to participate in leadership training, seminars, conferences, and other cutting edge experiences across Student Affairs to gain the knowledge and skills they need to be capable leaders.

LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund
The LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund provides support for Illinois State University students and programming that benefits the Illinois State community, including: (1) financial assistance for college-related expenses to fill unexpected gaps that emerge due to life circumstances and/or family situations, (2) scholarships for members of Illinois State student organizations that support LGBTQ+ issues, or (3) funding for educational programming related to LGBTQ+ topics/needs for the Illinois State community.

University Program Board Enhancement Fund
The University Program Board (UPB) Foundation Account will be used to support the student members that are dedicated to providing social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs for Illinois State University and the surrounding community. When you give to this fund, you will be assisting the UPB in furthering professional development, securing opportunities for growth in programming, and recognizing the devoted members of the organization. The fund will also enhance existing programs and allow for new programmatic developments.

Basic Needs Insecurity
The Basic Needs Insecurity Fund supports basic needs resources for students and services that help students navigate the resources available. These resources create a system of support, including the provision of consumables (food, personal supplies), temporary meal plans, textbooks, technology, and temporary housing.
