The Institute for Leadership Development supports initiatives provided by the Leadership and Service, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, to develop students as engaged, compassionate leaders committed to action, service, and social change in the global community. Current programs include LeaderShape®, the Leaders of Social Change Trip, Leadership Revolution, the Leadership and Service Themed-Learning Community, and Camp LEAD, with plans to increase opportunities and options for students.
The vision for the LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund is to provide emergency grants for students who lose the financial support of their family due to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. The primary focus of the initiative is to create a safety net, keeping a student enrolled while the student works through family and financial issues.
