Opportunity Fund

The Opportunity Fund is currently closed and is not accepting applications at this time.

Who May Apply

Opportunity Fund requests must be based on one or more of the following circumstances:

• An unexpected opportunity has arisen since the last Program Fund cycle
• The RSO (Registered Student Organization) experiences an unanticipated need
• The RSO has further developed a program concept that was not planned in time to request from the Program Fund
• The organization was created after the Program Fund closed

How to Apply

1. Complete a budget spreadsheet for each event and travel request and attach it to the Opportunity Fund Narrative Form. Only electronic copies will be accepted.
2. Submit the Opportunity Fund Narrative Form and select a funding hearing date. Hearing dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Applications must be submitted at least eight weeks before the event or travel date. Funding hearings must occur at least six weeks before the event or travel date.

After You Apply

1. RSOs will be notified of the funding decision via email within two weeks of the hearing.
2. RSOs receiving Fee Board funding must have a student leader and advisor meet with the RSO Financial Associate to review the purchasing guide and complete the required account paperwork.
